Applications were accepted February 1 through March 24, 2024. The application is now closed. Future opportunities will be announced here.

A scoring committee of SAAH board members will evaluate eligible applications based on affordability, project readiness, funding need, owner capacity, and location. Final awards are subject to funding availability and approval by the SAAH Board of Directors.

About SAAH

San Antonio Affordable Housing, Inc (SAAH) was established in 1995 as the nonprofit component of the City’s Urban Renewal Agency, the Office of Urban Redevelopment San Antonio (OURSA).

The mission of SAAH is to develop affordable housing, improve the existing affordable housing stock, and combat community deterioration through housing and community development programs and activities.

The SAAH Board of Directors is comprised of 7 members. SAAH Board members are either Commissioners, or appointed by the Commissioners, of OURSA. Board members serve staggered two-year terms and there is no limit on the number of terms that may be served.

Meetings are typically held on the third Wednesday of each month. Past and current agendas and board rosters can be found on SASpeakUp.
